Chevrons, hexagons, banners, Oh MY!

Got a crazy busy week ahead of me...soccer games, school board meeting, concessions for the school play, work...thank goodness I found time on Sunday to scrap...

I am in love with the My Minds Eye paper!  Chevron, hexagons, banners, OH MY!

I love this photo of Lauren and her dear friend Maggie!
They moved to Missouri about 5 years ago...their friendship will definitely outlive any distance.

Love me some Chevron!

Paper Issues has a new Theme & Blog Hop for April..."Show me your Chevron"!

I had no idea how much I would love to scrap with the "chevron patterned" papers!

It seems to be the big craze with every paper company...My Mind's Eye, American Crafts, Studio Calico, Jillibean,  Echo Park, Crate Paper...

SO... I pulled out My Mind's Eye chevron paper and spent Thursday evening scrapping!  I really like how it turned out....

I hope everyone has a blessed Easter...
Justin is home for the weekend...it's wonderful to have the family together!

Thanks for checkin' out all my bolognie!

Got my Mojo back.....

Wow, can you believe it's April already? Everything is blooming early and the grass has been cut twice already!

I scrapped last night with my girlfriends! And yes, I actually finished a layout!  woot! woot!

I believe I have found my "mojo".... feels good, no it feels GREAT to be elbow deep in brads, buttons, rub-ons, paint, markers, glue dots, rhinestones, ribbon, stamps and OH the amazing designs & colors of  my paper!!!!

Ok......so some of the credit  needs to go to a new Kit Club, Cocoa Daisy...that has amazing monthly kits and their own personal acrylic stamps! Check it out HERE!

The March Challenge at Cocoa Daisy is based around the Cocoa Daisy DT, Ronda  Palazarri and her new book just released, Art of Layers!

You can purchase it HERE! I did, along with the April kit!!!

In celebration of her first book, Cocoa Daisy's challenge is themed around Ronda and her book.  ‘Scrap Her Style’.  Create a LO in the style of Ronda. Lots of lovely layers and your own handwriting.

I used the March Kit, Pier 39...

Here's my layout... I love how it turned out!
